Does the script run on Synology HD6500?

We currently have a Synology 3618xs + RX1217 expansion unit. Now we need to switch to a new Synology because the storage is no longer sufficient. I want to take the 22 x 22TB HDDs with me. I was thinking of simply moving the drives from the old one to the new one and then running the script.
Should that work?

Yes, I believe it will work on HD6500.
