[Feature request] Adding Support for the Hex-zu-Unicode-Shortcut #1487

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I wanted to create a Medium Mathematical Space, which you can do in Word or the normal notepad by writing 205f and then pressing Alt+X. Which is not possible in this editor.
Describe the solution you'd like
Adding support for the Hex-to-Unicode shortcut Alt+X to type these special characters easier.
Describe alternatives you've considered
writing it in another text editor and then copying it.

Nothing happens when typing 205f and then hitting Alt+X
