I disliked that NTP is UTC and I would have to care for time zone offset and daylight saving time offset myself. Also leap years and stuff. |

Thanks for answering and good to know. AFAIK, leap years shouldn't be a problem? Would have to read up on leap seconds though... |

If that ended up a more robust and nicer solution with my choice is up for debate :-) What I SHOULD have done is use an IC that receives radio time signal. Next time....
