50系显卡用不了吗？

我的是5090显卡，安装完这个插件comfyui直接打不开了，换了comfyui便携版新环境也同样如此

same as mine, RTX 5090 with CUDA 13.0, and the log is not depicting much useful information. I have re-installed twice in my desktop version, but neither works - so I am quite convinced that this nodes would cause such issue to happen.

the ui's log appears to end with following lines before it throws error:

The workaround I could find to save the UI from permanently exiting is to remove the directory comfyui-rmbg in custom_nodes.

Thanks for reporting. It looks like the issue is caused by compatibility problems with RTX-50 series (Blackwell) + CUDA 13.0. This node includes some operations that are not yet supported on the 5090, which causes Python to exit with code 3221225477 during startup.

For now, please share the full error log from python_error.log or terminal so we can check which part of the node is failing. We will investigate and update the node to support Blackwell GPUs in a future patch.

1. GroundingDINO-Py>=0.4.0 —— CUDA 编译版本不匹配（最核心问题）
   问题本质：
   PyPI 上的groundingdino-py>=0.4.0预编译包默认适配 CUDA 11.x，而 50 系显卡需 CUDA 12.1+（Ada Lovelace Refresh 架构），会出现：
   “找不到 CUDA 库”“算子不兼容” 报错；
   GroundingDINO 无法调用 50 系 GPU 加速，只能用 CPU 推理（速度慢 10 倍以上）；
   极端情况触发进程崩溃（50 系 TensorCore 执行旧 CUDA 算子失败）。
2. onnxruntime>=1.15.0/onnxruntime-gpu>=1.15.0 —— GPU 加速失效
3. protobuf>=3.20.2,<6.0.0 —— 潜在版本冲突
   我能了解到的好像就是这些问题，但是我不会解决，有个新的https://github.com/IDEA-Research/GroundingDINO 不知道要怎么搞

到这comfyui就停止启动了，也没有更多的报错，也无法打开程序界面

我的猜测是groundingdino-py的问题。
我过去的安装方式都是直接使用comfy manager，刚才试了下手动git clone然后安装依赖，会出现这个问题：

这个问题应该是由于系统语言导致的，似乎还没有正式的解决方法，但是一个workaround出自此处：IDEA-Research/GroundingDINO#347 (comment)

通过下载这个.whl并pip手动预先安装groundingdino-py，就可以顺利在RMBG中通过pip install -r requirements.txt安装所有依赖。

然后再启动ComfyUI，就可以成功了。

This issue is not caused by RTX 50-series GPUs. The crash happens because groundingdino-py fails to install or load correctly (Windows GBK locale + Python 3.12 + new CUDA/PyTorch). When GroundingDINO errors during import, Python exits with:

Python process exited with code 3221225477

This stops ComfyUI Desktop from launching.

✅ Temporary Fixes

A. Pre-install GroundingDINO wheel (recommended)

1. Remove custom_nodes/ComfyUI-RMBG so ComfyUI can start.

2. In the same Python environment:

   pip uninstall groundingdino groundingdino-py -y

3. Download a working wheel from:
   UnicodeDecodeError: 'gbk' codec can't decode byte 0xa4 in position 2878: illegal multibyte sequence IDEA-Research/GroundingDINO#347

4. Install it manually:

   pip install path/to/groundingdino_py.whl

5. Reinstall / restore ComfyUI-RMBG.

B. Skip GroundingDINO temporarily

If you don’t need text-based masking:

• Edit requirements.txt

• Remove:

  • groundingdino-py
  • onnxruntime-gpu

RMBG will run in fallback mode and ComfyUI will launch normally.
