Microsoft is retiring the Azure AI Vision Image Analysis September 2028 #1014

Received the following email from Microsoft:
Microsoft is announcing the planned retirement of the Azure AI Vision – Image Analysis service.
Microsoft will provide full support for all existing Azure AI Vision – Image Analysis customers until 25 September 2028. During this support window, customers are encouraged to begin planning and executing their transition to one of the following Azure products. Your product transition plan will depend on the specific use cases for Image Analysis.
- For OCR and Read capabilities, utilize Document Intelligence
- For Face scenarios, use the Face API
- For other Azure AI Vision scenarios, utilize the GPT model series found in the Azure AI Foundry
- Azure AI is offering a new product currently in preview, Azure AI Content Understanding, that is powered by LLMs and supports many image analysis use cases.

Not urgent as we have until September of 2028 but we do utilize Azure AI Vision for a number of our Image Features so at some point, we'll need to plan to replace those with the alternatives mentioned above
