Templates page has too many unweighted options

This page is too unstructured: it has a lot of new terms, with no explanation of what they are. When a new-ish user approaches this page and has the goal of making a website, they will not know what to choose and are given no assistance.

To give a sense of priority, maybe it would also help to separate the technologies into the built-in stuff vs. the stuff that requires additional plugins. For the built-in templating languages, a short note to the tune of these work out of the box just by using the corresponding file extension for the template, e.g. .njk for Nunjucks would be great. (Otherwise, perhaps flipping the asterisk around so that the plugin-based technologies don’t get more emphasis than the built-in ones?)

This page might also be a good place to mention that, with the default configuration, Markdown and HTML files are pre-processed with Liquid.
