The MVP for the Telegram connector is available in this repository. The system runs on Cloudflare Workers with a containerized backend service that interacts with the Telegram API. It periodically retrieves new messages from a Telegram account and stores them in a TimescaleDB.

Objectives

This challenge focuses on improving and extending the existing setup that you can use as your starting point. Propose an improvement to the MVP. You can use the ideas below or suggest your own, as long as it enhances the system's functionality, stability, efficiency, scalability, security, or maintainability.

• Multi-account support: Enable handling of multiple Telegram accounts concurrently.
• Channel comment collection: Extend message collection to include post comments.

Submit a pull request with a working version of the improved service. Include your methodology in the pull request description to help us understand your reasoning and expedite the evaluation.

Request a review from @kol3x when ready. The maintainers may ask for refinements to improve code quality or efficiency.
