This project will take a while to finish. If you want to do it manually, assuming you already have the git repository configured, have love2d installed, and are comfortable with command-line tools, you can follow this guide instead.

Selecting the version

You can use git checkout <version> to "check out" a version.

$ git checkout v0.17.21

Injecting the Lua code

You'll want to inject the following Lua code to the start of main.lua:

love.filesystem.setIdentity("_tmp_boxedmino");
love.filesystem.__boxedmino_masked_identity = "love";
love.filesystem.getIdentity = function()
    return love.filesystem.__boxedmino_masked_identity;
end
love.filesystem.setIdentity = function(identity)
    love.filesystem.__boxedmino_masked_identity = identity;
end

You can do so using your favorite text editor by just pasting the code in at the very start.

Running the code

You'll have to run from source:

love .

A minified version of the Lua script is used.
