Short ticket description

VICTOR's technical team would like to revisit the idea of more automated testing and hear more about what we have planned around groups. I recommend we treat this as a community enablement spike since it's open-ended.

Sam's original question - My PI has requested me to make some automated testing of our notebooks to make sure everything runs properly. I plan to use papermill, and will probably just manually run the script once a week or so when i'm logged into. However, i was wondering if there was a way to automatically spin up a machine, cron job-style, and have it run everything automatically. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

@aprilmj can I check in here — have you already arranged for a meeting with Victor about this? I was thinking that you had, but re-reading this card I am now not so sure.

I have not set up a meeting with them - for community enablement tasks, I try to leave that to whichever engineer picks up the work.

We could change that if it feels nicer to have a pre-scheduled meeting - send me and @jmunroe feedback?

Outstanding questions here are:

• Where is the source of truth for the notebooks (GH, or the JHub itself)
• Can we enable an (authenticated) BinderHub?
• Do the test results need to be stored somewhere?
