How to change upload location properly?

Hi. I love this project, it makes running immich so much easier on macOS native hardware which is a nightmare with docker on macOS. I am attempting to change the upload location to my NAS. However, it does not seem that immich recognizes the location when modifying the ENV file. Linking duplicate folders in my NAS to the library folder does not work properly either. Any help appreciated. Otherwise working well on M4 Mac mini!

Have you tried changing the path in the config.sh before building the installer? I also would like to have my Immich data on an external volume but haven't tried anything yet.

anyone figure this out? changing ENV seemingly does nothing.

Yeah I'd like to move the upload location to the external 2tb SSD I have attached to my Mac Mini M4.
