I think it would be possible to provide an MCP tool to send messages to openclaw and view openclaw's messages, but the authorization issue for openclaw needs to be resolved

Let’s say I have a Mac Mini in my place, and this Xiao as an interface.

That’s a promising approach. I’m considering implementing middleware to facilitate communication between Xiaozhi and OpenClaw, which would enable a range of advanced features.

I think it's insecure to provide your personal computer's shell as a xiaozhi-esp32 MCP tool. It would be better to use a sandboxed VM for this. Since ASR is prone to transcription errors, there is a risk that a misinterpreted voice command could trigger a critical or destructive action.

OpenClaw operates asynchronously. This allows the agent to process messages sent via IM and provide a summarized response after a certain period. However, this workflow is difficult to implement using standard real-time voice communication protocols unless we introduce specific improvements and adaptations.
