tiogapass: enable rw of U6W3 (AT24C64)? #3
Description
The chip is connected to SMB_HOST_STBY_LVC3_SDA_R3 which is i2c3 at address 0x51
Connecting VCC and GND to external power (Board off) leads to large (200+ mA) current being drawn which is
powering the board.
So there is no diode and we cannot read it with the board off.
In drivers/misc/eeprom/Kconfig it says
28 | If you use this with an SMBus adapter instead of an I2C adapter,
29 | full functionality is not available. Only smaller devices are
30 | supported (24c16 and below, max 4 kByte).
so we need to figure out which driver would enable us to read the chip or if it's impossible.
