The implementation must provide the Large Message Transfer feature (DSP2058, 9.2.13)
This mechanism provides a transport agnostic mechanism to send SPDM message assemblies that are larger than the maximum message size of the underlying transport. The SPDM large message transfer mechanism uses the word chunk to describe each portion of the transfer to keep the terminology distinct from similar terms in MCTP. This mechanism is used in place of adding message fragmentation support to each message that is potentially larger than a single transfer size.
