Custom AI Model Disappears in Extended Chat When Switching Model

In the Extended Chat screen, when a user changes the AI model using the model selector, any custom model previously added by the user disappears from the dropdown. As a result, the user cannot switch back to their custom model unless they go to Settings and click Save Settings again.

Steps to Reproduce

• Add a custom AI model in Settings.
• Open Extended Chat screen.
• Select another model from the model selector dropdown.
• Try to switch back to the custom model

Actual Result

1. Custom model disappears from the model selector.
2. User cannot select it again.
3. User must go to Settings → Save Settings to make it reappear.

Expected Result

• Custom models should remain visible in the selector after switching models.
• No need to re-save settings.

Impact

• Poor UX – user confusion.
• Extra unnecessary steps.
• Custom model feature feels broken.
