Its not. Its a choice to make it much more complicated versus how it should be with major security flaws. Malicious code can be injected into the python script which people are supposed to blindly run on their systems? Providing the firmw3are would be the only safe and pure way to do this. I bet this dudes room is as clean as this logic.

Nothing prevents you from going to the website yourself and download the firmware yourself and deep-scan it... We are talking about Reolink - a Chinese company by the way...
