save intermediate results too

i want to have intermediate backup copies/instances of final results as well

e.g.
after hitting generate, i want to save all these instances / results =
before sampling method,
before upscaler,
before roop...
and so on..
then final result

for comparisons , future refrences, post production and ofcourse more control for desirable merges.

can i control SD process this way? script or API workaround?

And there are options to save before various other steps in Settings > Saving images/grids.
