Can you guyes add an option to delete old models and lora and sutch

HI , just wondering can you guys add a feature to bulk delete old models and Loras and Sutch if there a new model is present? like there's one to download new once with civtai so Sutch should be possible .. something like :

if I understand correctly you are asking a civtai integration
as such it should be done by an extension
either create your own extension or try to work with existing civilai integrations extensions

I wouldn't mind a built in option in the Extra Networks UI to delete checkpoints, Lora, etc. from there, like a small trashcan icon. Of course with the usual safety features like a confirm delete dialogue, moving models to the Windows Recycle Bin or a separate deleted files folder instead of just deleting them, with an additional "Undo delete" option, being able to disable the delete option altogether, etc.

yes that could be done and it's not even hard
but there's also already existing existence that allows for and management models, including deleting

some extensions provide such features on the separate tab
but I think that's also better because extra network tab is already very crowded

I meant, it would be helpful if the developers included a way to delete models from the web UI. We use the web UI to select models, so it would make sense to allow us to delete them there as well.

This would be helpful because sometimes, after updating a model, users may prefer to delete the old one to save disk space. It would also be a nice feature to have, as it would make the process of deleting models more streamlined and safe.

Manually deleting files can be risky, especially for less tech-savvy users. If the delete option was available in the web UI, users would be less likely to accidentally delete important files.

they are existing extensions that allow you to delete models and download from external websites (ie. civtai, hugging face)
it's possible that they also have it "update" feature

I know this, and I was just suggesting a method. Nothing else. As you said, new versions of models can be not great. So, I was saying that a delete option baked into the UI could be beneficial. This is because you can easily identify the models, and there would be a lot fewer issues if this was an option. Those who use SD know what I was implying by "update." I meant that an additional file is added to the folder. If users don't like the new one, they can delete it. My point is that a delete option should be added.

Is there an extension to delete models from the UI? It'd be useful for huggingface spaces, as they have some 50GB space limit and when you pass it the space self destructs and restarts, you could delete a model to make space to save the time it would need to spend to be rebuilt.

@Yntec the latest version of Civitai Helper has a delete button, works as expected. Make sure it's the fork that's now on the Extensions list by default, since it's more updated than the main repo.
