Is there any plan of SD to generate multi-layer file like .psd? instead of just an all-in-one layer picture...

This is a question from one of my customer...He used to have several art staff to design posters for his App customers. Now SD generated pics are good but some certain parts needs to be "fine-tuning" manually by art staff only If the output is multi-layer
format(e.g. photoshop .psd). Just wonder any future plan for this feature.. Thanks:-)

huh? Open png in Photoshop and Save As psd. Or are you suggesting somehow SD should be generating the image in layers? 🤨

I doubt this would be added to SD directly, however an extension may be made, if there isn't one already.

As far as I know A1111 doesn't work like that, it's doesn't have a layer based image generation system, for that you would need to migrate your workflow to Invoke AI, it has a canvas feature that lets you generate images on top of each other with different layers and export them directly to .PSD
