Maybe there is already a fix for this but, would be nice if I didnt have a giant empty space on my screen. It would also be nice to ctrl +/- the weight of the styles selected, but I'll just using all the screen space will be just as good. Thank you.

You can just press "Apply all selected styles" to put them to the prompt textareas.

I like to keep them there so I can change things quickly. But, yes, that is my current strategy.

Then you can switch to the dev branch (if you haven't already) and enable compact layout. It seems like it should be more convenient.

I think it might be more practical for you to use a wildcard extension of some kind
I don't think we've designed styles with your use case in mind, I belive it's mostly designed for you to choose one (a couple at most) style

styles are essentially just appending / substituting predefined prompts,
which is basically what wildcard extensions does, prompts substitution

for example this extension
https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui-wildcards
and it is compatible with ctrl +/- (__your_wildcards__:1.3)

__your_wildcards__ is just a exampel, use the correct syntax for the the particular wildcard extension

combining stable-diffusion-webui-wildcards with https://github.com/DominikDoom/a1111-sd-webui-tagcomplete
you having search and autocomplete, so using it is very convenient

I'll be honest I threw in a bunch more than I normally would. I wanted it to be easily understood what I was talking about. Rarely do I every look forward to the new ui.
