Sounds like overcurrent protection. Happens when the PSU gets overloaded. You may need a better PSU. |

Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060, 6 vRAM, 16 gigs RAM.
I've been using Automatic1111 almost daily for the past year with little to no problem.
But last night when I tried generating in img2img my display suddenly cut off. First couple of times it was almost as soon as I clicked generate, a third time it was around the 85-90% mark.
Event manager says the display driver stopped responding so I tried updating it and that didn't help. The only way I can get display back reliably is to do a hard reboot. The PC isn't shutting down (case lights are still on, as is my tablet light)
Historically the GPU temp never seemed to get high (I don't think I've ever seen it above 50)even when the fans span up on the >1024 generations. I did notice lately it took more time than usual to get bigger stuff or hi-res fix, but I figured that was due to controlnet preprocessing stuff.
I haven't accidentally bricked my hardware by trying to generate above my weight class, have I?
