SD XL generation time

On average it seems to need about 90/100 seconds "per megapixel per step" every time it generates a given image the first time, if i start tweaking stuff that are not the image size or the number of steps that seems to decrease to 30/40 seconds "per megapixel per step" (150 s/it) after this first generation.

Anything i can do to immediately get the second generation time or (in general) reduce it? Non SD XL-based models of same size require (on average) 1/20th of the time needed for SD XL-based models. And there is next to no difference between first and successive generation times.
