Saving text file with generation parameters *before* generation

I occasionally use up too much memory while working, which can cause Automatic1111 to crash mid-generation. The problem is that it sometimes generates something I really like from the preview, but I don't see any way to recover the same seed.

I've enabled writing the text file with generation parameters in the settings, but it doesn't write the file until after it finishes generating the image. Is there any way to have it write the text file before generation so I still have a way to recover the seed in the event of a crash?

The current parameters are saved to params.txt before generation. To load it, click ↙️ with the prompt empty.
