How do I keep lora "show dirs" always enabled

How do I keep lora "show dirs" always enabled. I want to keep the "show dirs" enabled between sessions, I have tried saving the default setup in the settings -> other -> defaults but it doesnt seem to be saving that particular setting. In a previous installation on windows I dont recall ever having to click show dirs, but now Im on linux and every time I start up I have to click it.

I searched but couldnt find the answer. Maybe I missed it or didnt try hard enough.

If anyone knows, Id appreciate the help, thank you.
