The new "Tree browser" is a failure I guess. Especially the UX, the old one has tab styles for each directory (folder), it's more way better UX, easier browsing, easier selection, easier responsive UI. I hope A1111 will bring back the tab style for the checkpoint browse 🙏

If you're using the Civitai Helper extension disable it and test again, it adds noticeable lag. Tree view is a bit slower than the old method depending on the amount of total models you might have, but it's not really that bad, Civitai Helper is what makes it worse, might be the way it hooks its buttons. Even the fixed fork has this issue.

@freecoderwaifu oh, I didn't notice that. Yes, I have CivitAI helper installed already into my A1111. Lemmy try to do as you said. Thank you. So, about the laggy issue, I have no issue at all with A1111 v1.7
