Preview batch grid instead of one image from the batch?

So a couple of days ago I reinstalled my PC and now when I make a batch size of 8, the preview only shows one image until the generation is complete before showing the grid. Now I might be getting dementia, but I distinctly remember that the preview was previewing the batch grid before, making it easy to look for certain poses.

I tried finding something in settings that can change this, but can't find anything.

PS: the setting

Show previews of all images generated in a batch as a grid

is enabled, it isn't doing anything. Something else seems to run interference for me.

same for me, bug I guess
'Settings > Live previews > Show previews of all images generated in a batch as a grid' is checked, but it does not work in 1.9.4, was working in 1.8.0

I have exactly the same problem. It's a real problem when you generate with animatediff... You can't interrupt a bad motion attempt. My checkbox to activate grid preview is also checked but still preview only first image of the batch

I was having the same issue but after removing "medram" and "lowram" from my webui it started showing the 4 pics on the batch instead of just 1.
