Lora "show dirs" etc are missing

Hi Folks,

I use 1.8 right now and I saw and used the new Lora sorting/Filtering options as shown below (had to steal this pic from another thread here for a reason).

Since a few days those options are missing as shown below. Also my generate button looks strange. I have not installed a new extension nor one that alters this part of the gui willingly. Anyone has a clue what causes this?
