Forced VRAM cleanup without rebooting WebUI

I regularly run into an issue where the VRAM is not cleared after generation and is about 100% full. Often this situation is caused by LoRa, sometimes by using ControlNet.
Further use of the WebUI is not possible in this case. This means a restart with loss of all settings, prompts, controlnet configuration, etc.
Question: is there a method to force reset/clear VRAM without resetting the WebUI?
And a question to the developers: is there in principle a possibility to create a function of forced VRAM cleaning in A1111?

Unless someone else has a better idea. You can leave the WebUI browser window open and restart without loosing your settings, prompts, controlnet configuration, etc.
If you are on Windows just close the command prompt window by pressing ctrl+c (your RAM is cleared here when you enter Y) then start like you normally would.
