"Compact prompt layout" option

From the description I thought this would allow preview images (portraits) to be presented larger? It doesn't unfortunately. Is there anything that makes preview larger? Imagin a popout window for the preivew, that'd be cool. In the meantime I discovered the setting Show Live preview in full page image viewer which is pretty awesome
