Need help with first image generation

Just to get this out of the way;
windows 11
amd ryzen 7 7700 8 core processor
16gb of ram
nvidia geforce rtx 4060 ti
1024 x 1024 resolution with 35 steps
using xformers, medvram-sdxl

The first image I generate per session completely freezes my entire pc. After 10-15 minutes my pc returns to normal and every image generation after is completely fine, they finish in 10-20 seconds. If I close a1111 again and reopen it later on, the next image freezes my pc all over again. Does anyone know why this would be happening or how to fix it?

Removing / adding / changing loras and generating an image also causes my pc to freeze up, like the first image generation.

Have you tried not using the parameter medvram-sdxl?

Did you run webui on an SDD or a hard disk?
