I'd love to see donations here in this project. I certainly wouldn't use it as a way to encourage development one way or the other. Just as a "thank you!" for all they do!

Donations could incentivize him to focus on this project as well. He could create different levels, so the more you donate, the better your rewards (badges, shout-outs, etc.) would be.

I would 100% do a $1-2 per month Patreon just as a “thank you.” May not seem like much but it adds up if you have a lot of users.
