Transparent images

I use imag2imag to enhance sprites. But I need to replace the transparency by a uniform color (green or other) with photoshop. Then I have to remove the green background in photoshop (selection by color range, with a slight tolerance for aliasing). It would be great if it was automatic:

• input : replace the transparency with a color
• output : replace the color by a transparency.

Creating a textual inversion style from images of random objects on a bright green background will work nicely :-)

Some of the textual inversion embeddings even created convincing depth maps from images as a style!

Another problem with using green is that, the green could leak into the main element. I am really looking into the possibility to have transparency, and better, layered file like PSD in the future.

Photoshop has AI assisted smart background removal, so using that will improve your results & workflow.

If you're determined to figure out an SD workflow, first look at these, object and style:

Creating the same thing for a pixel perfect alpha mask is going to be a challenge but I'm interested to hear how you get on! You'd then use the alpha mask in photoshop.

Good idea to use a generated depth map, I think on a uniform green background (or other) it should work, without contaminating the real colors.

I have discovered DIS and if it were integrated into A1111, it would expand image creation and also application possibilities in general.
