Model Hash

since most of us tell model hash insteal of model name. here's a script directly taken from Auto's Webui which will print Model Hash.

    try:
        with open(filename, "rb") as file:
            import hashlib
            m = hashlib.sha256()
            file.seek(0x100000)
            m.update(file.read(0x10000))
            return m.hexdigest()[0:8]
    except FileNotFoundError:
        return 'NOFILE'
if __name__ == '__main__':
    print(model_hash("model.ckpt"))

for those of too novice to know but not too shy to ask - where / how do I use this?
Is it integrated within the detailing line which now only details the hash ?

Very useful thank you. I need to create a dictionary of hashes with descriptions and keywords, image samples etc. Do we know of a pre-existing one?

One other question. Does it take a long time to get the hash from the model?
