Is there any option to prevent people from submitting issues on their end as bug reports? Or repetitive issues?

I think there could be a big warning to search the issues first before submitting it for example.

i've seen some repos implement a bot that automatically closes an issue after x number days of inactivity, that might be an option to combat this issue

We need to improve Wiki and and make more noob-friendly UI tooltips.
Disable something that never works, like: #2871
– this is 5th or more issue about some non-working samples for highres-fix!

How about making an in-browser popup saying why you cannot do this, instead of let the user wondering about scary error in the console?

Also, bugs should be fixed. For example, #2773, #2696, #2126, #1954, #389 – all of these are caused by the same bug! How about fixing it? If no-one can, push there at least a dumb value check to return something like "TODO, currently not implemented" instead of a scary error again?
