Strange doubling of reference image in inpaint window for non-square images

I'm seeing a strange issue with the inpaint window when a non-square image is first dropped on to the image pane. It seems to double.

The painting works on the right most image. If I later drag a square image into the pane. It initially doubles if it came after a previously doubled image like so:

But as soon as I draw it snaps back to the middle.

Then if I use a non-square image again (again by drag and drop) the non-square image looks OK too.

Painting the mask is still wrong, as if the reference image is up against the right wall of pane, though. So it look OK, but isn't.

Is this a Gradio thing? Or has something gone amiss in my install? I'm pretty sure it didn't work like this earlier in the week.

EDIT: I rewound the distribution to about 36 hours ago (Currently about 16:15 GMT) and the problem seems to go away. Maybe something introduced in the last day or two?
