Okay, so it appears Stability is taking legal action against Runway.ml which colaborated on the original model 1.4.

Thankfully it's not a law enforcement thing in the US but an escalation regardless

Given that they have a unique inpainting model separate from the normal model, I guess an automated switch (with a checkbox) of the model would make sense when inpainting.

I tried to switch to the inpaint model, but it has a different structure, so I got an error, so I need to do some extra development to use it

there is a pull, you can pull it and swap. Been using it for most the day, inpainting works very well

I got this error when I switched to it:

RuntimeError: Error(s) in loading state_dict for LatentDiffusion:
        size mismatch for model.diffusion_model.input_blocks.0.0.weight: copying a param with shape torch.Size([320, 9, 3, 3]) from checkpoint, the shape in current model is torch.Size([320, 4, 3, 3]).

I am on the commit 74088c2a06a975092806362aede22f82716cb011 which is not the last, and new inpainting model is working there.
