Remove prefix from filenames

When an image is saved, its filename always starts with 5 digits index regardless of what custom pattern is specified in settings. This prefix is added when generating single images as well and messes up alphabetical sorting so I am looking for an option to disable it.

By the way, it isn't obvious enough that you can check available name pattern tags in the label tooltip - a simple [?] button would be much more clear. Also, is it possible to add a [unixtime] tag?

Found a temp solution for it. Create a backup of /modules/images.py and change a part of save_image() code on line 396 to look like this:

        file_decoration = opts.samples_filename_pattern or "[seed]-[prompt_spaces]"

    # Removed two lines here
    # - - -

    file_decoration = apply_filename_pattern(file_decoration, p, seed, prompt) + suffix

    # This line will set the final filename to your exact pattern
    forced_filename = file_decoration.lower()

    if extension == 'png' and opts.enable_pnginfo and info is not None:
        pnginfo = PngImagePlugin.PngInfo()
. . .

Use 4 spaces instead of tabs or webui will throw an indentation error.
[ IMPORTANT ] Saving images with same names may result in overwriting the old files, make sure to add [datetime] to your filename pattern for safety reasons.
I hope this option will be added by developer eventually.

there's an option in the settings that allows you to not have the prefix numbering
and you can also set a date time with custom formatting
