Is it possible to save illustrations in the process of creation?

For example, if I am creating a 100step illustration, is there a function to "save" the illustration every 10steps?
I know there is a "display image creation progress every N sampling steps" in the UI, but the display is not keeping up with the speed of generation, so I can't see exactly what is going on. And I can't keep looking at it all the time.
If this function were available, I could reduce the generation that used to take 550steps to 100steps.
