What does score do in artists.csv?

Artists.csv has a "score" field, but It doesn't seem to be used anywhere and I can't find any documentation of what the value means.

This is probably a documentation issue, rather than a bug: the purpose of the field should be documented somehow.

From my understanding, the score value is a measurement of how much the usage of the artist affects the image.
