Brave breaks performance

It was working great yesterday, and the day before, and so on... I don't what changed today, but Brave is working very oddly.

I rolled back to a few days ago, and the same issue is there, so it's not an update to the webui that's causing this for me.

After a couple image generations, it's drops to like 4it/s from 17it/s , until I restart Brave (not the webui, just the browser), then it goes back up for a little while.

If I have brave open, then other browsers also have poor performance, until I turn off brave, then the other browsers work fine.

It seems to take a little while of brave running for this to happen.

Anyone know what might be happening?

I'm extra confused now! My vpn, nord, was off, and I didn't realize it. I just turned it back on, and brave's it/s is consistent again.
