Change InPaint default brush size to 50%. How?

How do I change the default setting for the Masking Brush tool in InPaint?
It always starts out tiny and 100% of the time, I have to select to make it larger.
I find that 50% to 75% is a good starting size, to get most of it done, since you need buffer space around the area, not a pixel-by-pixel masking brush.
