An X/Y/Z plot grid that works more natively

I found that I needed an xyz plot grid. I did see that others were looking for one, and at the same time found that one has been done.
I did not give it a try, but didn't want to go the extra hurdle and deal with additional file management and browser tabs. I just wanted it to work natively, like how I got accustomed to with the x/y plot.

There is still a little more to do to get it where it should be, in addition, clean-up the hackery I did to the code, but that clean-up is another day, as I left it where I could also extend it another direction for a different but similar tool.
