Checkpoint Merger for 2.X files that have .yaml file

Is it possible to use Checkpoint Merger, to merge models which require their own .yaml file in the models folder along with the ckpt.

I am able to merge such models, say 2.1 768 with Redshift 768, but even though they merge, the resulting ckpt model never works, it always gets stuck in loading.

Is it possible to merge 2.X models that have their own required .yaml files?
