How are generated tag text files used in dreambooth?

When you preprocess images in the train tab, it results in txt files with the same names as the files.
How do you use these? I can't seem to find any tutorials that use them. I also see no way of automatically applying the tags as the file name.

I believe as long as the files are kept in the same directory as the images they will be used as the tags for the images.
