We desperately need a (tag) solution / model tree for selecting models in the UI.

I have close to 130 models right now and am constantly forgetting what is what. At least if we had some type of Tag/Sort by/Manually organized tree in the model selection drop down this would not be such a hassle.

Ideally we need to be able to tag by #nsfw #cartoon #realistic #2.1 what ever.

Right now it's a total mess.

you can organize them into folders and then use the extra networks button to sort them in the new card/thumbnail view. there should be clickable tabs for each folder, and you can search by word filename too

Yeah, I think many don't realize that "Extra Networks" contains a tab for SD checkpoints. The label is a little misleading.

In my opinion, the button should probably go at the top of the UI and maybe even replace the dropdown altogether once it receives a few QoL improvements, such as smaller thumbnails or even an optional "list view" a la Windows Explorer.

EDIT: As far as applying multiple tags, here's a thought - does the WebUI support shortcut links? If so, you could keep your model files in a master folder and create shortcuts inside of subfolders however you like. This is how I organize my VST instruments in Ableton Live, and I think a similar solution would work great here.
