Gradio alternatives?

As this webui grows and more and more extensions start to appear, the weakness of gradio becomes very obvious.

It's regularly becoming unresponsive, forcing us to reload the browser tab or having to restart the UI.
For example just generating one large image (with high res fix or upscale script) will make the UI unresponsive.
Training TI or with Dreambooth extension will also make it "freeze" and become unresponsive during training.

It's very annoying and almost unusable in the long run.

So is there a plan to replace gradio with something else, more robust with better performance?

agree.
I don't need remote access for webui, so gradio is more like a burden to me.
Even when I view my images in image browser, every operation could cause a long time waiting (comes with a lot of animations, omg), that annoy me a lot.
The old version I used to ues does not have this problem, miss the old days :(

If you think the old version is better, you should still try the rollback, or try this fork.

Like the idea, just try it out, but some extension don't support gradio old version any more, so I am stucked with new gradio :(

Not all extensions are incompatible. It is possible to make it work by rolling back the extension.

You can ask the extension author for an extension version that supports Gradio 3.16.
