I wrote an extension mostly for when working in Google Colab that uploads images and its metadata in MongoDB. I'm planning to accommodate requests to support other databases.

What would be the way to add it to the extensions index?

maybe you could ask auto what is the way extension authors could submit extensions discretely. So there's no need for middlemen
