Is it possible to change location Extensions folder?

like something we use to change checkpoints/models folders with --ckpt-dir PATH.

But how do we do it with extensions? If not, then can we change it directly inside module files?

Put your upper folder path from your extensions folder instead of subfolder (extensions) path
--data-dir base_folder_path

I know this is an older post but I can't find anything else. Can you be more specific? I've done it like this --data-dir "D:\Stable Diffusion\extensions" but it's not loading the extensions when I try to start up SD

The flag --data-dir specifies the current base folder location.

For instance, if your base folder is at C:/stable-diffusion-webui and the extension folder you're referring to is at D:/stable-diffusion-webui/extensions, then you'd use --data-dir "D:/stable-diffusion-webui".

FYI, --data-dir doesn't just point to the extension folder location. it also includes others like the styles.css file and extensions-buitin folder, if I remember correctly.

Still trying to figure out, im just trying to use Forge UI without moving extensions from A1111 original folder;
so how do we do it?

we put it on webui-user.bat like this ?
