Apple M2 compatibility

Hi, I am trying to get basilisk set up on my apple M2 macbook air. However, I keep running into incompatible architecture error when trying to run the example scripts. Running the conan.py file works, and basilisk compiles. Is the m2 chip just not supported? Or am i missing some steps?

I set it up according to the steps outlined on the website.

M2 or M1 processors should work just fine. Did you migrate from an intel macBook? The migration might have brought over some intel binaries. I recommend doing a clean install of Python for M2 (python.org), deleting your ~./conan folder to rebuild that for M2, and then running python conanfile.py again.
