Hi,
I have successfully compile v2.2.0 in rocky 9.5. I am running under Wayland. I should say up front that if I run under x11 there are no issues.
So when I run RV I am getting this error ERROR: ******* NV-GLX Extension Missing ***********
Which is strange to me, since it would seem that RV is calling wayland-egl and wayland as well as wayland-xcomposite-egl not to mention wayland-xcomposite-glx. So it would seem that it supports wayland. However, I am guessing something is wanting GLX?
It’s also finding GLX-related plugins (wayland-xcomposite-glx), but these might not be fully functional in the Wayland environment because it depend on X11 compatibility. Even though it is found and it is installed, it seems to have a problem with it.
I have also tried to set it to use Xwayland, but no luck.
It seems to run ok and play clips. I am just not sure if this is just a plugin asking for this?
I would be nice to just not have the error not come up.
If anyone has any insight to this problem, please let me know.
