Remove new confirmation dialogue for deleting generation attempts?

Is it possible to remove the new confirmation dialogue for deleting generation attempts? I cannot find any switch in JSON settings or anywhere else, and it is an annoying extra bit of friction.

Yes! Please! Make it optional. Its another annoying thing added to HistoryWidget context menu.

1st one was 'Clear History' option added to the most bottom item of context menu. I got so used to 'Discard Image' beeing last option I literally reorder context menu every new update, so it looks like this...

I use "Discard Image" option more than anything else, so I can imagine I was not the only one disappointed.

I understand someone might delete something by mistake, so alternatively I would suggest soft deletion option. When deleted generations disappear from HistoryWidget images and land in some sort of trashcan where a user can recover deleted items until document is saved or closed without saving. With amount of random results of generated pictures that doesn't fit our expectation extra confirmation dialog is not something enjoyable to play with.

Pressing Del + Enter is pretty fast. Maybe should make Shift+Del work too for skip.

(Also I still don't know why people are obsessed with micro managing the history, of course many images are garbage, just leave them.)

Oh I totally forgot, pressing Delete doesn't show confirmation box in the first place. It's only to guard against misclicks when using mouse (which is slow anyway).

This doesn't work with the backspace button on a Mac keyboard, which has no DEL key. Could this new 'safeguard' either be rolled back or given a switch?

I've found some of my Krita documents are like 200+MB in size and easily have above 50+ layers.
I find history widget more convenient to lookup for specific generation than hovering over every single layers to see what's on it. History widget miniatures are big enough for me to have general idea what they represent (accessory, specific piece of clothing, facial expression, etc.).
And it's very convenient that preview shows up on top of all layers. So it saves me from toggling on/off visibility of multiple layers overlapping over each other.
Even thou miniatures applied as a layer are marked with a star, It would still be confusing to fast lookup when 70% of stored generations were a crowd of bad actors. That's the explanation behind managing the generation history.

Added a setting in v1.43.0, doesn't have UI though.

You can edit it by opening settings.json and disable the dialog by changing the following line:
